What Makes Our Assessments Unique?
BEE Consulting conducts IRt (infrared thermography) Scans as part of our Building Envelope Assessments.
By using an IRt scan, we are able to see anomalies in the walls and ceilings and verify if they are air leaks or water leak intrusions based on the patterns they produce and by testing with a moisture meter. By doing IRt Scans on both the interior and exterior of buildings, we can see several things that give the homeowner more information about their building than just a visual inspection can do. These in-depth items from our IRt scan we can see include:
- Hot wires
- Poor insulation
- Air leaks
- Water saturation
- Pest problems
- Venting pipes that have become disconnected
Our approach to assessments is inclusive and produces a definitive report. Knowing how things are working inside and outside, will determine how long your building will last.
BEE’s assessment services include:
- We work closely with Reserve Study Groups to make sure clients are getting all the components looked at. This will truly give you a better budgeting tool for your building.
- We take time to review the latest Reserve Study and Assessment. We like to know what work has been done recently and the documents that are related to the work.
- We recommend that a survey be sent out to the Home Owners Association (HOA) to have the homeowners answer some simple yes/no questions.
